Geological Mapping Software

I am trying to correlate sand tops from well logs across a field, which will be used to create structure maps, isopach maps and cross sections. Any software recommendations (Petra, GS, Petrel, etc.)? I am going to purchase the software so only recommendations on the best, inexpensive softwares. Thanks!
