Api 12a

Hi all,

I am currently at a facility inspecting several riveted tanks and this is my first time doing so. I have another API 653 coming out later but just wanted to get some insight on these tanks. We are doing the internal on five of the eighteen and already visually I am finding top side pitting that is localized but in several different areas. We will be conducting a MFE inspection on areas of concern and if need be, extend the area. I know API 12 A and other addendum's are how they were constructed but what about after they are put into service? I was wondering also if anyone has API 12 A.
