Fiberglass Reinforced Pipe - Stress Analysis

Hello!
I have to perform some stress analysis calculation on Fiberglass Reinforced Pipe, but the client still hasn't chosen any funisher, so I'm not able to request allowables...Any suggestion or material about it? It's my first time with FRP and I'm going to use Caesar II 2013 R1 to perform analysis.

First you need to specify the composition of the composite pipe. The properties vary greatly depending on the resin matrix. Try to find out the manufacturer and get their data or at least the method of manufacture, e.g. filament winding with polyester or epoxy or other resin. You can also take a look at manufacturing standards used for composite piping. There are several standards from the USA and the UK that will give you some guidance, but composites are isotropic e.g. circumferential properties will differ from longitudinal properties and you will need to be careful entering them into Caesar II.
