Horizontal 2 Phase Separator Sizing

Dear All,

Currently I'm sizing a Horizontal 2 phase separator. Still confuse how to chose the head, Liquid level setting based and how to calculate partial volume as well. I really appreciate if anybody share any material related to the subject.
