API Introduces Computer Based Testing

Starting in March 2014 API will change the examination delivery method from paper-and-pencil to computer-based-testing (CBT). We are certain that this change will provide for a better and more consistent testing experience for our clients. Please view the announcement to find out about changes to your testing experience.

any clue how it would be, as i am planning to appear but have no idea about CBT

Hi,

I just took the API 653 exam. For me CBT was a bit frustrating. For the open-book session, you only can access one PDF per time and you need to close the PDF just to read the question. It was very time consuming (at least for me) since you need to scroll the document to find the answers.
