certifcate issue

dear friends,

I hold master degree from the University Of Baghdad-IRAQ.I am currently living in the USA .The Problem is that in the USA they companies dont hire people having certificates from the Middle East as I heard .So,what should I do ?Should I get my certificate evaluated or Do you I have to start-over ?

I got my degree from Kabul University in 1974,,, BSc Civil.
I had it evaluated and have never been out of work.
You can also obtain your PE license no problem.
