Need your expertise on the technical assessment for operation safety staff and principal.

Intro
I am planning to do my technical assessment on operation safety to determine as a staff or principal.
Currently the assessmen is done by third party from US.

Question:
1. Is anybody in this forum have simillar experiances before ?
2. IF yes , what is the reading material or notes to be used for the technical assessment .?
