Software for petrophysics

Dear friends,

I once used Geoframe Petrophysics module for petrophysical log interpretaion, especially petroviewPlus module for water saturation calculation. Among Geoframe petrophysics, Paradign Geolog and Interpetrophysicist, which one do you reccommend? Please any suggestion?

To be honest I used only Geoframe software for petrophysic interpretation. I used it with license. As far as I remember, I do not know any free petrophysics interpretation software except small excel-based calculation sheet.

Yes, Excel seems to be the software that helps us for log calculation.
Do you know other software free or a small algorithm in excel to resample a log ( for exemple from 0.1 to 0.5m)?

search in the forum you can find great softwares like Interactive Petrophysics ( IP ) amd techlog ... no need to use excel ... it won't be helpful
