As I remember You can find information in this article: "Kimmitt, R. P., Root, C.R., and Rhinesmith, R.B., Proven Methods for Design and Operation of Gas Plant Liquid Slug Catching Equipment", 80th Annual Gas Processors Convention, San Antonio, Texas, March 12-14, 2001. I don't have this article. As I remember main parameters are:
- Light Liquid Holdup Time was 6 hr.,
- Light Liquid Surge Time was 3 hr.
Next steps like for a typical separator.
