Software Recommendation for Gas and Oils Separation Plants?

Hello friends,

i am now on a GOSP project, which we took the completely datas, that we only manufacture the welding construktion of the Plant.

But i have a underground of mechanical engineering and i am very interested in the calculations of the GOSP vessel sizing, line sizing and the simulation of the mixtures.

Which softwares would you recommend for the GOSPs, for simulation, for vessel sizing, line sizing, and all the calculations related to Gas and Oil Separation Plants.

that depends (almost mainly) from your budget,
I do a lot of things (fluid properties, separator's sizing, line's sizing, compressor's sizing etc.) with Excel and PRODE PROPERTIES,
this at the very low cost which is acceptable by my business,
if you have much money you can purchase a license for Hysys or PROII or some other software.

Thanks for your answers. I am using now manual methods for it. I found in this forum some spreadsheets too, which actually should be very helpful. Only i did not solve the spreadshits yet, may be because i am still new in this topic.

I am now on the manual calculations:
- densities of the liquids and gases
- mixture densities
- flow rates
- vessel sizings (nozzles, vessel capacities, as that the diameter and length, the weir plate and buffle locations and sizes usw.)
- line sizings

i learn them but my knowledge did not help me to full fill the spreadsheets inputs

May be if i use the spreadsheets 100% we wont need a expensive software. But it was in our mind to find the usable softwares and if they have resonable prices, to buy and use them.

Of course i find out, without i know the exactly process and the input datas, some general calculations, wether i can use the spreadsheets, nor i can use the softwares (hysys or pro/ii).

That's why i am now on it to learn the general calculations and general specifications.

But of course alone and without someone who orient or help, it is difficult to find right ways.

Now we are taking service from a outside engineering company. I can not come through with their datas.

What would you recommend me to do in this way?
