I am studying for it right now (for the exam in October). My recommendation is to definitely join ISA (I think it's like $110 for the year). The main reason being that you get a discount on reference materials you already need (like the CSE Exam Study Guide and the Sample Test). Also, you can get free access to online webinars they had in past years. The have a 6 series webinar regarding CSE exam review that you can access for free if you are a member. Also, join Scribd.com (I think they have a $9 month-to-month subscription service). You can get a lot of the reference materials on there in PDF format that you can use for the exam. It has helped me tremendously.
