please can anyone explain the procedure for nitrogene purging of a new LPG pipeline ( % of N2) is there any norme, code or standard that desribes this procedure with details

If you u r in a hurry, just inject N2 in the pipeline from one end vent it in the other end, keep continous flow of n2 until the O2 content drops to <5%.

The 2nd way is to pressrize the pipline with n2 up to 80 PSIG and depressurize it to 5 PSIG. continue pressurizing and depressurizing until the O2 content drops to <5.

Consider gel pigs or foam pigs to drive with Nitrogen behind the pigs.
