Dear all,
I have been recently given the general topic of my master research paper - Secondary Porosity - without any further details as to what exactly I'm to research specifically about this topic. Now I've found some papers regarding secondary porosity as a controlling parameter in hydrocarbon production in heterogenous carbonate reservoirs as well as several papers alluding to the methods to estimate secondary porosity. I do have access to a lab and core samples, so the idea of doing a simple field study, based on a specific reservoir has already crossed my mind. I would, however, be very thankful for any input or suggestion from active reservoir engineers as to what else is specifically interesting/ research-worthy in regards to secondary porosity (aside from research that has already been done in the field).
