Future after Nebosh International General Certificate

Hi people
I am an Chemical Engineer with 4 years experience in production in a fertilizer industry (petro-chemical). I am planning to do Nebosh International General Certificate. My doubts are

1] Is it useful for me in my growth? viz. profession.
2] Is it easier to clear?
3] After obtaining Nebosh IGC can I apply for HSE engineering vacancies too?

Or kindly guide me as to what courses will best suit my qualifications & exp.

There is great future is available as most of government has done mandatory to appoint an safety experts. So there is great career either in private or government sector.
