how to design a metering station by using regulator in it

Could you give me any advice to design a metering station by reducing the gas pressure in it?

Normally meter will be installed in the downstream of the regulator, b-coz you can get a steady and constant pressure on the downstream of regulator, the drawback is that when the pressure is reduced you have to go for bigger size of meter.
Can you explain more in detail what is your requirement, so i can help you, b-coz i am designing the MPRS skids for the last 4years for natural gas using different types of meters & regulators.
