Seeking for an entry in reservoir engineering. It would be helpful if someone could post me necessary industrial skills i need to gain in the same.

SPE published the following competency matrix for reservoir engineers:

This matrix shows the knowledge you are expected to have as a Reservoir Engineer, but you must add the very basic and common soft skills.

From my very personal point of view, students with high academic performance are quite often appropiate for Reservoir Engineering because they show scientific thinking and are pasionate about learning. I wish you luck!
