    Cryogenic properties structural steel

    Hi there,

I'm looking for information, book, reports, experiments etc about the temperature dependent thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity of structural steels, like ABS EH36 or ASTM A131, especially for low (cryogenic) temperatures. I found one book called: 'LNG Materials and Fluids' by D. Mann, but this only covers stainless steels.

Does anyone have this kind information, and would you share it with me?

    Thanks in advance!

In the past, i attend meeting of Shell FLNG PJT at SHI may be 5years ago. Their lab engineer tested & recorded property of material of stainless steel at SHI. However SHI didn't use stainless steel caused none grantee of property.

I recommend using 316LIG that was specially used cryogenic condition in Nuclear fusion equipment[ITER PJT].
