Electrical Tester

Does anyone have a recommendation for an electrical tester (brand, model, etc.) for residential and industrial/commercial use? It would not have to be complex, but should be able to test for volts, amps, ohms etc. in a circuit. There seems to be such ambiguous information in reviews. Thanks in advance to anyone providing input.

any type multimeter from Kyoritsu I think is adequate

If you want a good brand, then buy a FLUKE or a PHILIPS multimeter
