Need Help with Partial volume in vessel's head

Hi guys,
Need your advice..
Recently I got this psv sizing spreadsheet from a project..
Nothing different from the formulation inside it, but one formula is kind of different..
the partial volume for head formula inside is not like the one in GPSA..
I tried to urge my boss to use the one in GPSA since it's common..
but he insist to use that one and i have to find the reference of that formula for validation proof..
