I have a Recorder of Bottom hole pressure and temperature. This recorder is equiped with a DinLine with convert the signal of RS 485 to a USB.

[link Point to another website Only the registered members can access] My problem is how to connect the device to a PC, located in a lab cabine, equiped with a Data Acquisition System via USB. So, may be, I can use a converter cable between USB and RS 485.

i.e : there is a constraint that the distance between the recorder and the PC is more than 30 m. So, by using this cable, may be, I will have a loss of the energy and therefore a loss of information.
