All is defined on NFPA 750 standard and other specific nfpa standards. Easy: Calculate the amount of water requided for extingish the fire in 2 hours (NFPA) for Each specific area that you want to protect. The water fire tank must be designed to have a minimum capacity for 2 hours and 8h for recover again the level of water (2 hours of operation).
