Trunnion Design - Which Codes

Can anybody help...

I need to undertake the desing of a trunnion. The pipe is designed to ASME B31.1. Is there any codes I can use to complete my design.

If B31.1 is your Code, you should use that Code to satisfy your design Code requirement.
The design thus has to meet the requirements of B31.1.

There are different approaches to designing a trunnion. Get some piping handbooks and should get a first rough idea where to start.

If your design Cade is B31.1 then you must comply with the requirements of this Code. A procedure for the design of trunnions is given in an ASME Code Case. From Memory it is N318 I think. This is basically where the procedure in the EN Piping Code came from.
