Hi All,

I am a newbie in welding field, involved in mechanical testing of welding procedures.

I am just wondering if there is any way that I can differentiate the welding process visually, eg. through welding appearance, weld beads' size in the photo-macrograph, or perhaps the weld beads' brightness after etching process?

Hopefully somebody can suggest a good reading material so that I could gain more insights on this topic.
