NOTE TO USERS OF THE TEMA SAMPLE PROBLEM BOOK
Sample problems with solutions are provided in this booklet to illustrate the application and use of various design formulas contained in the 6th Edition of the TEMA Standards. Many ot the problems pertain to the design of tubesheets tor different types of shell and tube heat exchangers under various design conditions. The referenced paragraphs contained in the problems correspond to identically numbered paragraphs in the 6th Edition of the Standards. Questions concerning these sample problems or an interpretation of the TEMA Standards will be handled promptly unless action by the TEMA Technical Committee is required.
