Dear all,

In one of our project, we suggest to use an in-line NH4-N analyser in the oily water sump. What is your opinion about this suggestion?

all the oily water comes from the site to the oily water sump. In the sump there is an oil skimmer with flexible hose connection. Water level in the sump is not stable and also the place of the skimmer is not. Analyser will be placed below the minimum water level. so I guess it could never dirty with oil.

Why do we need such an application? Because sometimes high NH4_N load is coming to our wastewater treatment plant and it upsets our 2 equalization tanks with a volume of 36000 m3 total. It is not easy for us to get rid of this. If we have an in-line analyser then we instantaneously warn our upstream units before our equalization tanks gone.
