You need to develop skills on HYSYS.You can learn HYSYS just from its tutorials (very comprehensive tutorials).You can find HYSYS from this site and also its tutorials.
You must start to read API Codes, TEMA etc. Also develop your design concept by studying the Coulson vol 6 (having designing details).
Also you can have API series for operators for basic concepts about heat exchangers,vessels, cooling towers, pumps ,compressors etc.
Try to use other softwares like Pipesim, Aspen Exchanger Rating & Design, HTRI (you can find all these softwares (Evalution or -----ed versions ) with tutorials ,from this site)
You can find BDMs (Basic Design Manuals) of JGC and Exxon Practices from this site for basic and detail design concepts and calculations
