pump setting depth

I want to calculate pump setting depth for oil well, I hope you can help me with formulas, informations or program. So if you have some PDF or link, pleeeeease share with me.

You dont calculate setting depth....you size the pump to deliver the desired rate at the desired setting depth. The pump should be set as deep as possible to avoid gas bubbling out of solution. Considerations for the setting depth are the deviation,the packer, the dogleg, the size of the casing etc...look for ESP manual of GABOR TAKacks, a best seller!
