Frac tank is used in Oil and Gas industry for Hydro fracturing operation of reservoir to increase the permeability. It is used to keep fracturing fluid and proppent mixure.A frac tank is used to hold water, or a proppant, when a well is being fractured. The material is held in a frac tank and connected by a hose or pipeline to a pump that will flow it down the wellbore at a high pressure to push open the formation and the proppant is used to keep it open.

21,000-gallon tank for on-site storage of fluids. Also known as: mobile storage tank, portable tank, Baker Tank, Rhino Tank, Rain-for-Rent Tank, E-Tank

These are the few picture of Frac Tank.
Dimension of Frac tank will depend on the Capacity of Tank u need.
    it May ve:
    1. Rectangular Type
    3. Cylindrical type.

Commonly in the drilling operations, a frac tank is use to storage any kind of fluids for the operations, such fluids could be: Drilling mud, brine, water, disposal fluids remaining of the drilling operation. Other features (depend of the complexity of the tank) are: Manifold with butterfly valves, hooper, agitators, suction line output, skid mounted, outside level meter. The commonly volume of the frac tank vary from 100 bbl up to 700 or more bbls (actually if the client require a specific dimension it can be done).

  7. Normally from production point, whenever we perforate the new zones during the production life of the well, the production from the well is diverted from the facility to frac tank because of less confidence in the composition of producing fluids. Simply we can say it is used for storing the fluids. if during the production well had loaded up and we have no production, so we offload the well through swab rigs or gas lift and fluid recovered from the well is stored in frac tank. The frac tank is not always present on well. It is being shifted when needed.
