Its simple, just put one item in one cell.. when you copied from excel to notepad data will be pasted as tab delimited.

Thanks for your reply Bilal. Do you have any template for this job? I don't get your point about the file format.

Re: making schedule file using Excel

    hi
sorry for late response, i though it is better late than never :-)

i attach spreadsheet that can be adapted for your needs.

basically it takes production rates and pressures from respective pages. here is for gas but very easy to change to oil.
i usually have all wells from the start but if rates are zero it will give shut or stop (see N2). this simplifies job as i don't have to add wells later but makes file big. just copy rows 18 to 34 and paste to row 35 it should have next month (look at formulas). once copied to text file select spaces and ctr+h replace/delete them or eclipse doesn't like it. summs of respective columns can help to verify inputs...

if anyone can share theirs templates that would be appreciated.

    Dear Halim,
I did try yr Excel script, but it seem to be not work. Nothing happen when I click "Format 2 Sched" bottom after filling my data into Production and Injection tabs.
Did you test yr script with different data, Mr Halim?
For any matter, I can be reach at sang3011@gmail.com

    Hello Sang,
Yes, I tested the script with real data for many projects and it worked fine.
