    hi evreybody,

I have a problem regarding the PVT, in fact a PVT sample was taken in the gas zone or in the tranzition zone (oil-gas) showing that my reservoir is a gas condensate reservoir, then we realized that this is not true and my real reservoir fluid is oil, can I determine the real PVT data for my oil phase using the available data?

    thanks in advance

    Hello Ganshen,

two questions, where did you take the sample, at the separator or downhole?, and what makes you think that is a oil field?

    regards

it's a separator sample, in reality we realized that an oil rim exist

    Comments..

    Options:

1.- It is best to take another sample from oil zone.
Does it matter if it is not from the beginning of the production? [/B]
Depends on bubble point. It is best if pressure is above bubble point.

2.- take samples (gas + oil) at surface and recombine (from oil interval)
Does it matter if it is not from the beginning of the production?
Doesn’t, because separator conditions are below bubble point.

3.- If not possible, recombine gas and oil from transition zone (last option).
