Hi friends,
Someone have a tutorial or help manual to work and to interpret poststack AVO seismic Attribute in Petrel?
The help in Petrel about this topic is practically void.
I really need any information you can share.
Thank you

post-stack AVO ?
are you sure ?
AVO is being analyzed in prestack ( gathers -- offset and angle) ... according to my information petrel is not dealing with such kind of data .
to test AVO in pststack , there are some simple and inacurate approaches using different angle stacks (far, near, mid and full stack)
Far-Near angle stack , or Far x (Far-Near) are famous fast and simple tests for increasing the amplitude versus offset .
using the calculator in petrel you can easily get the fast significant results (if you will care about some conditions and restrictions of using this method)
petrel is providing some applications for plotting and checking out the results. but i have no idea if this is written in any manual .
let me know if you found what i said useful for you , and i am ready for more details if you want
Hi ahmedsisy, thank for your answer..
Yes, with Petrel calculator and Offset limited stack, you´ll be able to do a gradient & intercept analysis; Petrel provide a few volume attributes named AVO atributes that you can obtain using this gradient & intercept volumes. Nevertheless, they no provide enough information to interpretate correctly them, example: AVO fluid angle, AVO fluid strenght, AVO strenght.
If you can provide me with any information to interpretate this attributes with stack data, I would appreciate that a lot.
Thank you.
