Hey everyone!
I'm involved in a project in which I have to give 50 pages max argumentation on which financial decision is best for a company.
The following specifications are made:
- this company wants to open a new line to transport methane gas
- the pipe is 7.5 km long on the teritory of Country A and 12.5 km on the territory of Country B
- the max pressure is 40 bar; min pressure is 29 bar
- Nominal diameter of the pipe is 500 mm
- max transport capacity is 1.0 mld mc/year ; min transport capacity is 0.3 mld mc/year
- total value of the project is estimated at 20 million Euro, where 8% of it will be financed by the countries A and B, the rest is the company's own business.

Now... I'm pretty confused in what should I be doing.
I was thinking of simulating the construction of the pipe and optimize it so the costs will get lower.
But still this is mostly an economy problem, me as future engineer, I can only think of how to build it. Somehow I need a plan to show that the pipe project will work... or not.
I was thinking of attracting investors if I can come up with a suitable plan for the next 5 years.
To do that plan... I need indications. I'm not good at economy, sadly, and I'd like some help from you people. Where should I look? Which reports should I analyze?
Also, the company is at the stock marker so another strategy would be selling actions to attract people into investing in it, but will they? Is it a good investment to do?
I've already put too many questions and I guess it will be difficult for someone to answer.
If anyone can help me, with any piece of advice: books I should read to understand the problem better, sites I should look on, real facts and cases, anything you can, please don't hesitate.

I hope the post isn't too confusing; I couldn't find any Economy subforum so I posted here, sorry if i was wrong.
Looking forward to your answers. Thanks!
