One of the casing configuration for centrifugal compressors is the so called "ISO-cooling" which permits the hot gas to be extracted from one compressor section to an external heat exchanger, and then returned to the following section at reduced temperature for further compression.
What I need to know is the meaning of "ISO" in this case. Can anybody help me please?
