Red face Books, documentaries and popsicles

    Hey everyone!
I'm new in the forum, and very new to the petroleum industry. I'm a student in 2nd year.
It's summer holiday and with plenty of spare time, I'd like to inform, to learn more about this industry. School classes aren't that much useful... sadly, so I decided to study on my own, as much as I can, so eventually I could get a proper job as soon as possible.

Enough with that . I'm studying chemical engineering, petrochemistry that's how it's named in my country. If you know any books, movies, documentaries, songs, people that could guide me (like fellow engineers or professors), please respond to this post.
I want to study, I want to be the best, help me do that!
    Thank you

So far, I got my hands on this piping training course:

    Dear friend
I advise you to wait for your classes and use them as guides to search for more information on google/youtube etc.
Curiosity is a great asset when you are engineer. With time you will realise that you like more some topics than others depending very much on your professors. Get strong in what you are strong and the rest will get stronger too.
But if you want to advance on your own take a look at your future courses and go online for keywords. Today the biggest challenge is to cope with vast amount of information and make it useful for your daily worklife.
    Hope this humble word helps.
    Warmest Regards
