Thread: Hydrate software

    Hydrate software

    I wish to calculate the hydrate formation curve in Matlab with the method HPFORM(stream, temperature) available in Prode Properties,
    the Matlab example provided with Prode Properties (HPFORM.m) allows to calculate a single point but I need to calculate the whole curve (say in the range 260-300 Kelvin as for the Excel example supplied with the software)
    How can I instruct Matlab to calculate a series of points and draw the curve ?

    Re: Hydrate software

    Matlab gives several ways to iterate through different values,
    you may for example use FOR or a equivalent instruction

    t = 260
    dt=(300-260)/9
    for i=1:10
    t = t + dt
    t[i] = t
    p[i] = HPFORM(1,t)
    end

    but different alternatives are possible
