Relative permeability for gas condensate fields

Hi there,

I am working on a gas condensate field (3phases present)that has some SCAL data for capillary pressures and water saturation including well logs for Sw etc....

I am currently working with J-functions as a means of matching initial water saturations for entry into the simulation package. My problem is that the the field does not have any relative permeability data. can anyone suggest the best method for producing these types of curves to link witht the Pc and saturations that have been created.

To get an answer to your question just tell us exactly what data do you have? is strange that you have capillary data without having the relative perm. data from SCAL.

Hi FOXNEW,

as stated before I have been handed SCAL data that only covers a Capillary Pressure data set (19core samples-19 sets of Capillary pressure data) .

For some reason there were no core flooding tests carried out on the cores.

What I am looking for is an acceptable method to come up with a solution to the lack of data such as use of simple relative perm. curves and or introduction of pseudo rel perm curves until such time that this type of data is available to me.

You could use Burdine's theory on paper SPE 225-G "Relative perm calculations from pore size distribution data" since you have Pc data. Also refer to Hornapour's book "Relative permeability of petroleum reservoirs", there you can find various correlations for calculating 2-phase and 3-phase kr.
