Actually I am working on one of the ongoing project in our office for flow line sizing and gas gathering for new wells for existing gas processing facility. we purchased the pipesim software from the SLB which contains Pipesim Base system and Network analysis Modules only. When we try to run the base model prepared on compositional fluid Menu it gives compositional security license error. we spoke to SLB software provider why it is giving this error they explained that you need to buy the compositional module separately to have this feature which we believe that it should be part of the basic module of PIPESIM as it is the basic feature of PIPESIM. please give ur inputs in this regard as i think without this module you can only partially use the pipesim for Blackoil fluid Menu applications.
Secondly Per my understanding with the available pipesim modules including compositional analysis module i.e with Pipesim base system and Network analysis we can run the MUTIPHASE Pipesim steady state simulation models and get the outputs. Please confirm.
Lastly Multiflash Module in Pipesim is a separate physical property package use to determine the HYDRATES predication and volume requirement. Without this module, can we still be able to run the steady state MULTIPHASE pipesim models on pipesim software we purchased from Schlumberger? Please confirm.
As per my understanding multiphase is different thing and does not require any module like multiflash to run and get the results.
