    Gas Material Balance

my doing p/z on gas condensate reservoir
Well has produce about 1 bcf with cgr of 102 stb/mmscf
should it convert oil production into gas equivalent and add it to produce gas
    then plot P/z with GP

    simple i want to ask

    should i do
    P/z vs GP
    or
    P/z vs (Gp+Ge)
    Best Regards

    Zaheer,

You are right, Gp will be including gas + gas eq. and similarly z-factor in p/z values.

    Re: Gas Material Balance

this thing is also clearly mentioned in RESERVOIR ENGG HANDBOOK, by Tarek, in Reservoir Fluids chap that in gas condensates two-phase z-factor is utilized for p/z analysis.

    Re: Gas Material Balance

If the amount of condensate in large then you must use Gp+Ge...otherwise it will not have a big effect on a OGIP. It s better to do that calculation before dew point, for more accurate results.
