Hi
How to measure the density from sonic provided borehole is very badly washed out?
What is purpose of Geophysical Logs, Its new for me that why need help from you?

You use geophysical logs to generate synthetic seismograph which then you correlate it to your surface seismic data , you can obtain density computed from sonic by means of transforms , if the log is washed out your petrophysicist have to edit it for you to correct for washouts .
