ASME Section II Part D Table 1A

Can somebody please tell me if in Table 1A of ASME Section II Part D, there is just written "PIPE" in product form, what does it mean? I mean, will the pipe be Seamless or Welded?

For Example, take the case of SA-333 Grade 4 K11267, the product form is JUST "PIPE", not "SMLS or WELDED Pipe" as already written for SA-333 Grade 6 K03006. So, will grade 4 be in SMLS or welded, or both?

it's not important.As a matter of fact your construction code shall be one of ASME B31 series or etc. in those construction code it is mentioned for example in ASME b31.3 table 302.3.4
that what is "longitudinal weld joint quality factor" for each kind of manufacturing process. Then this factor will affect relevant equations in designs.

@ Siamak! Thanks for your comment, but i don't agree with this. As you can see, ASTM A106 is always manufactured Seamless and so, you can't apply any of the factors as defined in ASME B31.3 Table 302.3.4. Rather, you have to take E = 1.00.

Same is the case with SA-333 Grade 4 K11267, i can't refer ASME B31.3 Table 302.3.4 before i know its fabrication, i.e., SMLS, ERW, FBW or so on.

@ Siamak! Thanks for your comment, but i don't agree with this. As you can see, ASTM A106 is always manufactured Seamless and so, you can't apply any of the factors as defined in ASME B31.3 Table 302.3.4. Rather, you have to take E = 1.00.
