Multiphase (gas-condensate-water) in Prode Properties Interface

I wish to investigate the application of Prode Properties Interface to obtain phase fractions and properties in DCS given compositions and operating conditions, I appreciate comments and notes from users.

we have one for calculating properties of gas streams,
it exchanges data with our DCS via MODBUS,
simple and reliable interface, now running for about 2 years.

As far as I know standard versions of Prode Interface export gas and liquid fractions, you may contact Prode for versions with two or more liquid phases.
The program ifself (Prode Properties) is capable to calculate three or more phases (gas-liquid-liquid etc.).

pbel which properties does your Prode Interface calculate ?
The request is to update gas and liquid fractions in DCS every 30 seconds,
stream has 12 components, at each interval we update (from DCS) composition and operating conditions,
we should receive (from Prode Interface) gas and liquid fractions.

in my previous company there was one installed,
the interface was connected to a gas chromatograph and a DCS,
no problems as far as I know.

actually we plan to use the modbus interface which is supported by our DCS hardware ( OPC would require additional cards),
did your installation use modbus ?

in our case Prode interface did connect a DCS and a gas-chromatograph via OPC , in our application Prode interface gets data at regular intervals from several (3) gas-chromatograps and calculates several properties which are then available in DCS for purposes of controlling the correct operating of a gas treating plant.
MODBUS interface should provide equivalent features, you may find addictional information in this page
