I need your suggestion. As you know rising OWC is a problem. What would you suggest to delay an increase of water oil ratio in a reservoir driven by a good aquifer if a 750m horizontal well has been drilled?
The well drilled at the crest of the reservoir, the horizontal section was split into a few zones, flow control valves are in place.
Some sources on the Internet mention that gas lift can be used. One half of me understands how it will be preventing WOR to rise, second half says it is not going to work.
