Thread: Molecular sevies or Amines ?

Cool Molecular sevies or Amines ?

    Hello
I have a question to ask.

    Aminies Vs Molecular sevies

Given, I have a 15% CO2 concentration on a onshore well with no water
and no H2S and N2 what is a better option in terms of cost.

Molecular seives look to be a good option but how are they in terms
of life cycle and costs when compared to Amines, Practically I mean
    .

I was hoping that any of you guys could help me out with this.

For m.s 15% is very high for gas is better study membrane.

Thank you for your reply R_RAZI.
I understand that for anything above 15% molecular sevies are a good option and it is the only option for offshore production platforms.
Yes the CO2 content is less than 15% as of now.

But I was trying to do a economic and HSE comparative between Amines and Sevies.
More in the lines of cost of operating them and maintaining them etc.
I am looking for a cheaper option.
