    Workover

Help me some experiences about Well killing technology during work-over operation affected by abnormaly low formation pressure.
I'm thinking of choose polyme gel plus form to treat.
Production zone is basement, depth 4000m, abnormaly low formation pressure is 0.6-0.9. temperature about 90 - 145 C degree.
Please show me how should I do?
    Thanks.

What well is it? Oil, Gas, sauer, sweet, carbonate, SS. All this factors as well as previous history on similar wells are decision factors. Haven't say that, have you thought on snubbing?

Thanks Ye, It's oil well. They used sea water before but now formation pressure is very low so we want to use chemical agent.
Gel's removed out easily after finish.
It's the firsttime I do this so I need your helping, please show me some chemical and how to do.

    Thanks again!

Oil well.... underpressurised. What the heck you want to kill this well. This well is already dead.
No need to represent chemicals with fancy names to the formation. The crude itself is "heavy" enough for killing it.

Dear Yengineer, this well is not dead, It keep working by gaslift and well production rate about 20 -500 ton/day.
This well in Viet Nam, production zone is basement, reservoir type's cavernous-fractured.
It's quite difficult so I need your ideas.
    Thanks.

So it is an oilwell producing by gas lift.
Now, if you want to change valves you can do it on slickline - no need to kill the well.
If you want to pull tubing, just give this well some crude oil to drink and it will be quite as fish.
If the crude get lost into formation and the well comes into you, just pump some more crude into it (or produced water). No formation damage will happen since there are already formation fluids.
    Snubbing is another alternative.

    Thanks Yengineer
But they ask for us to comply with this process (Well killing technology during work-over operation affected by abnormaly low formation pressure)
So we think the gel chemical is suitable with this job.
Have you ever known about chemical for killing? please show me.

No I do not, I would have used snubbing unit.
