Generally double acting actuators don't have any spring for safety reason.these valve utilise with small air volume tank as power for fail safe position.normally the voulume calculate for 3 time open/close of the valves.

kindly, the new double acting can assembly with spring for onside or both, you can found that on ROTOK actuator type
