I know they are old standards. The project my client requires that the rules and must follow the requirements.

I know: 8559 was replaced by DIN DIN14175
8575 to DIN 12070
8556 to DIN 12072
DIN 32526 to 14175

Perhaps you can show your client the forward pages of the standards where it states that they have been replaced. You have probably already had that discussion though. I searched and could not find the older issues.
