hello all

currently trying to determine a tank's suitability for anchor bolts and am quite stumped on the value "MF"= moment about the shellt o bottom joint from liquid weight. Just a little confused as to how to determine the right value. From my understanding, your supposed to determine the lesser of 14.8 x H x D and 59tb SQRT( Fby x H) and use that as the value of wL.

I did that and my difference in values is quite large.
15,809 N/m and 1,628 N/m... Is this normal?

Also, i noticed that the unit is in N/m, must I multiply it by the area of the tank floor to attain the value of MF in the main equation?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.
