I'm glad I found this nice forum. Quite some good material is getting posted here.

At the moment I'm working on a Black Oil Modeling project.

As easy this may sound to most of you, I simply cannot get a good matching. The problem is that I didn't really get an introduction to the basics and only a few examples of hot to match reservoir fluids were shown to me.

I use 2 pseudocomponents, use the Peng-Robinson EOS and tried a lot of different configurations.

My software package is PVTP (Petex).

Could anybody tell me what the most critical factors are to get good matching and maybe post a rough outline on what the culprits are when matching Black oil?
