Hi, All

Can i put 10 ohms 25w resistor series with the Line, what will be happen? is the voltage step down due resistor in series and is the resistor will over heat?

The resistor will overheat at 25W.
Finding the max current is easy to calculate with P=I²*R and is about 1.58A for a 10ohm 25Watt resistor.
Putting it in serie with te load means the the max load is depending on the line voltage.
To calculate the total max. load use P=U*I, for a line voltage of 230 Volt it would mean about 360 Watt.
This basic calculation does only work for Ohms load.
