Fuel gas system - start up by gas inlet from 1st stage separator

Dear gents,

I got a problem with fuel gas preheater system. Datasheet noted that inlet gas shall come from 1st stage separator. Does that mean gas comes from wellhead to 1st stage separator and then passes through preheater system during startup?

In addition, at the first time we start up platform, how long does it take?

just to understand more the problem, you have a fuel gas preheater designed to heat the fuel (gas phase), and shall be located downstream separator to remove any liquid , any two phase inside the heat exchanger will effect the pressure drop and heating efficiency, please if you can describe more the problem it will be better.

give me more sense of inlet temperature min and max during start up. this will be considered as fuel gas superheater when considering the gas above hydrocarbon dew point or just preheating it. Normally, the FG superheater shall be installed downstream filter/separator. The preheater will be used only during start up which is normally small duty.
